Pricing – Survey for Safety

There are many headline rates around to get your attention when looking to purchase an EV Charger but as NICEIC Approved Contractors safety is first and foremost in our minds, not only for you but your neighbours and in the case of commercial installations, your staff.

As such, we prefer to have an understanding of your current electrical set up to see whether it will cope with the increased load when the EV Charger is installed.

In the first instance and when making an enquiry, it does help if you can attach photos of the following ;

  • Consumer Unit – please advise of distance between consumer unit and meter cupboard
  • Electrical Meter Cupboard – contents and surrounding
  • Gas and Water pipes – this for bonding purposes
  • External photo of driveway/preferred location of EV Charger
  • Basic floor plan sketch (if possible)
