Worcester Bosch’s wide range of controls typically include two main elements: a time clock or programmer and thermostat. They have something to suit every customer, from simple room thermostats to wireless, app-controlled options. Intelligent controls also help Boiler Plus legislation compliance and can boost the systems ErP rating by up to 5% when installed with 3 Smart TRV’s. Bosch’s Easy Control is compatible with other products and services like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Facebook Messenger (via.tiardia, Bosch Virtual Assistant). System Water, Water Filters – System Filtration
Over time, central heating system water accumulates harmful dirt and debris, such as rust and solder fragments shed by older radiators and boilers, as well as limescale deposits from mains water, all of which can cause considerable problems in the future. Boiler Plus
Boiler Plus legislation is designed to ensure that heating systems in all UK households are as efficient as possible. It requires new gas boiler installations to meet a minimum Energy Related Products (ErP) rating of 92%.
You can do this by ensuring the correct time and temperature controls are fitted to heating systems at the time of installation. If your boiler is a combi boiler, you will also need to have one of four energy saving measures as part of your system.
The most practical and inexpensive energy saving measures to meet this requirement include adding a control which has one of the below features: Load Compensation, Weather Compensation or Smart Thermostat optimisation and automation.
